Through batching a large number of transactions and applying advanced verifiable computation techniques (zero-knowledge proofs) for processing and validation, WowChain delivers Layer 1-equivalent security for a wide range of applications, including complex financial primitives and other high-demand use cases.

Core Architecture of WowChain

Sequencing Layer

The sequencing layer is responsible for receiving and processing user transactions, generating new Layer 2 blocks or transaction batches. This design is inspired by Ethereum’s ZK Rollup architecture and includes both execution and settlement layers, ensuring efficient transaction handling.

Rollup Nodes and Proposers

Rollup nodes are categorized into standard Layer 2 full nodes and proposer nodes. Proposers collaborate with sequencers, synchronizing transaction data after batches are processed by the sequencer and submitting them to the main chain for verification, thereby ensuring data integrity and security.

Settlement Layer

WowChain leverages the Dogecoin main chain as the settlement layer to guarantee transaction finality and immutability. This seamless connection between Layer 1 and Layer 2 enhances overall functionality.

Proving Layer

Utilizing zero-knowledge proof technology, the proving layer validates all transactions on Layer 2 while ensuring that user privacy remains intact. This layer is essential for achieving efficient and trustless execution.
